When you need someone to look after your dog or cat look no further than Aspen Valley. We are a caring, professional team who dedicate themselves to caring for your pet just like they were at home. We cater for most brand names of foods wet and dry. Winalot, Pedigree, Bakers, Wagg, Butchers, Working Dog. We have no objection, if you wish, to bring your pets food to the kennels. Sometimes your pet may be taking medication at the time of boarding. This is not a problem as long as your vet has no objection. We will administer the medications as per your instructions. Vacinations are mandatory. Please ensure these are up to date. We require your proof of vaccination on arrival. Those that are not up to date cannot be accepted into our kennels. Kennel Cough is not obligatory, as it is not stipulated in local regulations nor is Feline Leukemia (FeLV). However, it is good practice to protect your pet against any ailments / diseases where possible. Your veterinary surgeon will be more than happy to advise you. All kennels are heated and secure with covered outdoor runs. Your dog will have its own kennel and run for the duration of its stay. It will not be boarded or mixed with another dog. We do offer a collection and delivery service available 7 days a week and you may visit us during our opening hours without an appointment. We assure our customers of a high standard and personal attention at all times throughout the year. So book early at Aspen Valley, where every pet is special, to avoid disappointment.
| History of Aspen Valley Pat & Gordon Allen bought Aspen Valley nearly 16 years ago. Then it had one kennel block and a small core of customers. Their daughter, Georgina, came to Aspen Valley to join them and together they have built Aspen Valley up to a well respected animal boarding establishment. They now have a very strong customer base and work with animal welfare organistions, Police Authorities and Local Government Offices in Lancashire. | Dear All, Our cat, Felix, was a regular visitor to your cattery for many years, we are writing to let you know he has sadly passed away. He was a much loved pet for eighteen years and we just want to say thank you very much fo your care and attention all these years. We always felt that we could leave him with you, safe in the knowledge that he would be well cared for. Best wishes Susan & David Duckworth Rishton, Lancs 12th October 2007 | Dear Georgina, Rascal became ill suddenly and we had to take him to the vets. "We have been bringing our dogs to Aspen Valley for 15 years. They came as puppies and we still like to bring them to the Allen family now they are in their twilight years. They always look so happy to be there and we know they get the best of care. Our dogs are very special to us and we wouldn't dream of leaving them anywhere else when we go away on holiday" Mr & Mrs Egan, Bolton, Lancs. | |
